What are the major hypocrisy in the hip hop world when it comes to telling the truth to our black youth?
I think the true hypocrisy comes from the likes of Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Plies, people of that sort. The people that get mad at being stereotyped but play right into those stereotypes. If you don't want to be lumped in with the thugs and drug dealers then stop talking like one. This is why Big & 2pac were so profound. In Biggie's second album he stopped talking about slinging dope, because he wasn't anymore. You can't be a millionaire "rapper" and still sell dope. If you are selling dope, you aren't talking about it on a cd. 2pac had his "stereotypical" side but he also had a more complicated side. You can't talk about "uplifting your people" then sell poison to them. It's called genocide.
