HELP:Harvest Moon Tree Of Tranquility!!?

I really need to know how to get a "perfect spinach" on this game.
And i need to know how to color yarn..i got a yarn maker and i have yarn, but how do i make it red??
Also, is there an easy way to make money?
I have to go to toucan island to fish everyday so i can make money..but is there an easier way.??
if so, I MUST KNOW!!!
And how do you get to the other part of the gull island?
I made one rainbow that leads to one of the parts, but i want to go to the other one too.
Two more things, which rainbow leads to Mt.Gelato??
And what is the easiest way to complete rainbows?

Jeez that's a big question so I'll answer it in parts

1) the spinach : During either summer or fall you'll be able to purchase spinach seeds from souffle farm for a nominal fee. To increase the odds of getting a better crop after planting also purchase fertilizers from souffle farm or from the flower festival. In fertilized soil the odds of growing perfect spinach is roughly (from experience) 7/10.

2) Coloring yarn : Inside the barn towards the door you enter from there will be a "Dyeing pot", in it you place your yarn and its coloring. To color yarn, silk, or flax you have to place into the pot the item in question as well as either a flower or herb, putting in a red herb and the wool yarn will produce red yarn.

3) Money Making : Seeing as you have a yarn maker you must already be at the point where you can purchase animals from Brownie Ranch. It may cost a bit of money at first but buy a chicken coop and at least one or two silk worms. Every four days, if you feed them properly, the worms will produce a cocoon. Once you have the cocoon place it into the yarn maker to make silk yarn. Then place the silk yarn in the dye pot to make colored yarns. Blue yarn is the best, followed by purple, red, yellow, and green. Though you should save your purples to make medicine. A blue silk yarn is worth around $2000. Note however if your silk yarn is good do not dye it with green because it is worth more undyed. The same can be said with perfect silk and yellow dye and shining silk and red dye. Blue dying is better than everything however. Silk worm dying is very effective providing you can find the dyes, since flowers work well find a time of year where blue flowers can grow and plant a bunch for the coming year. Other than this method purchasing a goat and cheese maker will provide you with a decent amount of money if the goat is at a high enough heart level.

4) Gull island : After you do the first rainbow you can travel over it to gull island with the badge. There is also a sprite on this island, and if you give it the 5 ingredients it requires it will give you a rainbow that can get you to the second gull island.

5) Mt. Gelato : The rainbow that leads to Mt. Gelato is found in the dead center of the Maple Lake District, after you form the rainbow your person will attempt to climb it only to fall through the rainbow. As it turns out the sprite at the tree lost his badge, so even after completing the rainbow you still can't climb it. You have to do the rainbow on gull island as well to get the badge.

6) Completion : The easiest way to complete the rainbows is to find out what ingredients are needed and get them all beforehand, but if you don't want to cheat there is no simple solution. If you want to look up what the ingredients are I'll supply a site below.
