How can i make my white converse WHITE AGAIN?!?

my white converses that i got 1 year ago are off white and kinda dirty now, even tho i tried so hard to take good care of them..i tried washing them with bleach even submerged them in bleach/water for 2 days, and still did nothing to whiten them..any other suggestions? please!
also how can i remove skid marks are w/e? and i wouldnt want to waste $$ to buy another pair of white converse when these arent even ruined, their just dirty..

try submerging them in an oxy clean solution over night, then washing them regularly. if their is still spots on them , try using a stain remover such as SHOUT! or another spray on stain lifter. if there is skid marks on the rubber sides, put some bleach gel, which can be bought at the grocery store in the cleaning aisle near the bleaches. put some bleach gel on a warm rag and scrub the skid marks out.

i have black converses and i used the "bleach on a rag" method to get skid marks and grass stains off of just the white rubber. It works really good.

I hope that the oxy clean and the stain remover helps lighten the shoes.
