How come your not supposed to skate the nose of your skateboard?
Most people skate on the tail of a skateboard, but I feel like theres less room for my feet. its to small. I like the nose because its higher up from the ground and I feel like i can get a Higher more better looking pop out of it.
For instance, when I do a kickflip on the tail the front of the board tends to face upwards alittle bit at an angle, which we all know doesnt look as good as when its level with the ground. When I do a kickflip with the nose I get more level with the ground at the peak of my kickflip. Now this isnt reverse, where I do Tail tricks on the nose, and Nose tricks on the tail. I Always Use the nose regardless of skating Fakie or nollie.
So tell me why I shouldnt skate the nose, If you agree with my method, help me reinforce it then
It really doesn't matter. If you can skate better with the board turned around, then do so.
It really only matters with old school pool boards. The nose is much smaller than the tail. Some boards there is barely any nose.
Look into getting a twin tip (Siamese) deck where the nose and tail are identical. Hybrid boards combine the body and nose of a new school board, but have a larger tail similar to a pool board.
