Why is the price on the Jordan 4's so expensive?

Ok look, I have some Jordan 4's color black/cement grey. Why is the price on this shoe so expensive? I understand why the price of nike dunks rise, but why on Jordans? These shoes are listed on the internet from a price range from $400-$700, who will be willing to buy them for this price?

The original Jordan 4's color black/cement grey released in 1989 for $110. They got retroed in 1999 for the same price.

These shoes are a collectors item now barely anyone has them in mint condition especially the originals. If I had 500 bucks to burn I would buy them. People who would buy these shoes are shoe collectors, shoe freaks, jordan heads.
