I'm trying to find a toy I used to have as a kid (circa 1970)?
Around 1970 I received as a gift my favorite toy... it was a large (maybe 4 foot long) Styrofoam boat. In the center of the boat there was a long arm pivot with a plastic helicopter on the end. There were two joystick controls - one for speed of the propeller and one for the angle of the propeller - and the object was to take off from the landing spot on the ship and pilot the helicopter around the ship and then land it safely back in the landing spot - or on the ground. Does anyone know what this toy was?
Was it a Verti Bird with a styrofoam rescue ship?
