Sewers or people Arty give some help?
I put in stretch lace on top of an umbrella, where the fabric will usually. It looks a little droopy, so I had to increasingly tight as it was even put a line on alternating legs that didn't have seams on them. (When I announced fringe weight doesn't remove wrinkles) I hope this makes sense. Im at my wits' end. I removed everything I can to tighten, but I other ideas for me?
I worked with decorative umbrellas / parasols and they can be difficult. Did you use Stretch lace or can you find a non-stretch lace? Stretch Lace continue to stretch and "statism" strict you pull. Even creasing or running will not make it more tense, but it can also distort the lace pattern and could cause the material to "frizz up" in places. Another thought here: Is this the stretch lace stretch in all directions or is it just stretch from top to bottom or side edge to side edge as has been forged and rolled onto the bolt of fabric? Do you know what I'm saying? If lace is stretchy in all directions, it would be very difficult for stretch on the coast umbrella (Struts) without falling. If, however, it extends in one direction (up / down) or (EDGE / EDGE), it is a big difference in whether or not the decline lace, depending on how you prepared and reduce your Gore (panel) parts. Do you work with a model or freehanding? You say you put a dart on the amounts alternating with no seams on them. How many ribs / struts? If six, then you do have three time seams / panels? If eight, so do you have four time crimped / panels? If yes to either, it could part of the problem. In Victorian parasols that I built, I allowed a Gore between the ribs and turned every seam in 3-4 locations along each rib. Much time, yes, but it kept the gore up the coast and tense, not drooping and eliminated all the tricks. I will assume that you are along the bottom of the umbrella of a fringe, but if it is marginal or ball chain on society, it is not heavy enough to remove any wrinkles in the spindles. It's just a decoration, not strengthening or stabilization. Wish I could be there to help you solve this. I always had to find myself because nobody could imagine what I wanted to do. I had some sessions real-fetched on the umbrella / umbrella projects, not to mention ideas that I had other "unusual" crafts / sewing that nobody had yet invented or even developed a model for me. I do not know if this helped or hindered, but if you can add additional details to your question, I will try to change my answer if I can help you resolve this dilemma, or at least offer additional suggestions.
