How to look goo in a school uniform?

I go to a private school and there are a lot of rules about what we can wear. I have a red and navy blue plaid skirt, white polo, and any shoe that has a back and ties. No nail polish ): No big earrings and not a lot of necklaces. Only natural colors for the hair. Only solid colors for socks. We can wear sweaters, sweatshirts with no hoods, and sweater vests (yuck). There are a lot of rules, and all I want is to look good. Please help!

Especially things having to do with my uniform.... ;P
But to start, make sure your skirt & polo fit well.
A polo that fits well makes all the difference.
Play around with your makeup but don't wear too much.
Wear a cute necklace & rings if that's allowed (:
Oh & you should get sperry docksiders {shoes}.
They look great with uniforms and they're allowed at a lot of private schools where I live.
