Guinea pigs ?
Well my two male guinea pigs are in the same cage, and in a seperate cage I have my two females. Just recintly the two males keep knocking their food bowl over and then squeeling cuz they have no food, even though it just all scattered through the bedding. I don't want to keep giving them more food when they are just knocking it out cuz its a waste. The two females aren't doing this. How can I make the two males stop ? and why would they be doing this ?
The guinea pigs are probally not causing this. It is their bowl. Certain food bowls are not as good as the other. You need to check the shape and weight of the bowl. If the bottom of the bowl is not flat, the bowl will tip over as the guinea pigs get older and larger. It is not happening with the females, because they weight less than male guinea pigs usually. But, it is not the guinea pig's fault. I would recommend getting a new bowl if you can. That is the only way to prevent the bowl from tipping.
