Sole Stability

Which shoe type is easier to walk in?

This year I will start to wear heels more often and need to buy my set, but I need to know what experienced heel users think about the two types of soles:

Flat Soles (less than 1/4 in, plastic sheet and wrapped cardboard) like these:

Or

Platform solid sole (usually 3/4 to 1 1/4 inch thick, made of solid plastic or wood) like these:

Which type is easier to walk in?
The solid type is rigid overall shoe, but serves more stability
The flat sole is a flexible overall shoe but woobles more...

The second one is better. It is more solid and has a thicker heel. With heels, you want support. Too much flexiblility makes you likely to get injured, and you may loose your balance.
Another important thing with wearing heels is the height. Make sure you don't wear heels that are too high at first, and work your way up. Wear a lower heel for a certain amount of time per day. Increase the time you wear the heel. Then when you are ready go on to the next size. Slowly increase the time,

When buying: Always try on any shoe esp. heels, in the afternoon, when your feet swell. You don't want shoes too small- ouch!

Remember to take care of your feet, its especially important when wearing heels. I love Freeman's foot cream, and Dr. Scholls For Her comfort insoles. Good for wearing with heels. Remember to alternate heels. Lower heels are better for everyday, your feet will thank you =D
