My friend says people underestimate the job of flight attendant. Is it true??
Yes, most people do. But how many people do you know that have witnessed a FA in an emergency situation? All they see is smiling waitresses! Yeah, they smile but you don't know how they really feel, do you? Those long hours are not healthy, you know! Not many people have seen FAs saving people's lives as it doesn't happen very often.
The way I feel about this job is that FAs are like undercover nurses, firefighters etc, they do some food serving most of the time but when something happens suddenly they do what they are there for - safety and security of our dear passengers!
